Box Contents May 23, 2007

I was actually in Europe last week, so my good friend Teresa picked-up our box. It included:
  • Carrots (round parisian or yellow)
  • Chard
  • Lettuce (romaine)
  • Basil (greek or genovese)
  • Baby Turnips
  • Fennel
  • Strawberries
  • Summer Squash
  • Wild Arugula
Teresa brought a salad made from the fennel and the wild arugula to our house yesterday -- it was fantastic. We also grilled the squash after a quick marinade in teriyaki sauce. I'll ask her to share the recipe and the other things she did with this list of veggies.
